Whether you’re looking for a standalone production tool, or a MIDI controller, the versatility of the Akai MPC Live has you covered! The features of the MPC Live are designed to help increase your workflow. Connection to a DAW couldn’t be easier, simply load the MPC software as a plugin in your DAW and you are away!

The stunning 7 inch multi-touch screen allows for seamless control and movement through the many MPC menu functions. These controls allow you to edit waveforms, draw MIDI, program the sequencer, apply FX and so much more! As a controller, the MPC gives you more control than ever when shaping VST instruments and effects.

The MPC 2.0 Software when ran as a standalone product features key production and performance tools. Pulling you away from your computer to let you concentrate on making music, the MPC features a real-time time-stretching / pitch shifting algorithm, one shot launch modes, loop-specific RGB pad colour configurations, automatic BPM detection and automatic tempo lock.

Tools regularly found in you DAW are easily accessible on the MPC Live 2.0 software. With a smartphone like control, the user can easily edit audio with features like erase, audition, cut and paste. Processing audio also doesn’t require a DAW; create fades, reverse, mute, pitch shift and time stretch can all be achieved on the Akai MPC Live.

The aforementioned features are found in an improved GUI, designed to make your experience as easy as possible with the MPC Live. The ability to resize several aspects of the GUI means that you can personalise the layout to benefit your work.

The MPC Live is truly awesome, giving you a full music production tool which is stand-alone, meaning you can sit in the park making tunes, or in the pub if you're keen for a beverage or two. It's capable of audio tracks, MIDI tracks, use of virtual instruments, dynamic effects and sampling, all whilst running off the built-in battery. You can then go home and carry on working in the studio with the MPC DAW software on your computer, genius!
