Whenever new OP1's land at Red Dog, they don't hang around for long! Read on to find out why...

The OP-1 has it all, performing well as a standalone synthesiser, sampler and controller isn't as easy as it sounds. Throw in the additional FM radio and motion controlled effects and you've got one crazy machine! The simplistic design makes working with the OP-1 fun and interactive, whatever level of ability you are.

Featuring ten synthesiser engines, eight on board effects and routable LFO's, there is endless sound creation possibilities. The OP-1 can also be connected to your current setup as a MIDI controller. Options you would expect from a controller (play/stop, record, rewind etc.) are easy to find and manipulate with the OP-1. A two octave keyboard makes the OP-1 both easy to play and practical, whilst the onboard sound module can be controlled via the majority of DAW's.

Whether you work best with a computer or as far away from the internet as possible, the OP-1 has you covered. A 4-track tape feature allows you to record anything you create onboard. Overdubbing with a matched sequencer tempo can take your creations to the next level. A built in EQ and compressor can also be applied to touch up anything you make.

To summarise, if you can think of it, the OP-1 can do it.

Think of the OP1 as a 4 track tape machine, and it will start to sink in a lot quicker. This is one of the most versatile synths out, and has been for almost 10 years! That's a serious testament, that something that's been out that long is still doing well, if not better than when it first came out. It's a quirky and geeky synth, which is why I love it so much. If you're looking for something that sounds unique and does things outside of the box, then this is absolutely the one for you. To quote Arnold Schwarzenegger, "Do it, do it now!"
