Red Dog Music Limited Online Trading Terms and Conditions
No contract will subsist between you and Red Dog Music Limited or any of its subsidiaries for the sale by it to you of any product unless and until Red Dog Music Limited accepts your order by email confirming that it has shipped your product. That acceptance will be deemed complete, and will be deemed for all purposes to have been effectively communicated to you at the time Red Dog Music Limited sends the email to you (whether or not you receive that email). For the avoidance of doubt, any such contract will be deemed to have been concluded in the United Kingdom. Further, any such contract will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of Scotland, and you and Red Dog Music Limited irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.

Your Rights To Cancel
As per distance selling regulations, if you ordered by phone or internet and have not visited the store to discuss your purchase, up to fourteen working days after delivery you can cancel your purchase and receive a full refund by:
- returning the product in person to our store (please bring your receipt with you),
- emailing us at info@reddogmusic.co.uk,

- writing to Red Dog Music Returns, 1 Grassmarket, Edinburgh EH1 2HY
The product should be returned to us at your cost within 30 days of cancellation, complete, unused, and in 'as new' condition (excepting any reasonable modification to the packaging required to inspect the product ). The product must be returned with all the original packing and accessories. For copyright reasons, software and pre-recorded media (e.g. CD, DVDs, videotapes) cannot be returned. Any 'free gifts' received with the product must also be returned.
Whatever the return method, please ensure that the item is packed to at least the same standard you received it in. We are not responsible for damage in transit if you use your own courier or if the item is insufficiently packed. Note we cannot collect from addresses outside the United Kingdom.
We cannot accept your purchase back if:
- you did not order the product by mail order or internet, or have visited the store to discuss the purchase,
- you return the product without proof of purchase,
- the product is missing any of the accessories that shipped with it,
- the product is software or pre-recorded media of any type,
- the product was specially built or customised to your specification, e.g. computer systems, flight cases etc,
- the product was purchased for professional or semi-professional use,
- the product has been opened and is designed to touch your mouth, nose or inner ear (eg. microphones, in-ear headphones etc.)
We will try to carry out our responsibilities under this agreement as soon as practicable and within 30 days of your order. If we do not carry out our responsibilities within that period we will tell you and refund, no later than 60 days after your order, any money that you may have paid to us. You may, if you prefer, extend the time in which we can carry out our responsibilities.
These are your statutory rights as outlined by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 and the Sale and Supply of Goods to Consumers Regulations 2002. Further advice regarding your rights can be obtained from the Citizens Advice Bureau, Trading Standards or the Office of Fair Trade.
Returns Policy
Any goods returned to Red Dog Music must have a returns authorisation (RA) number. Any goods sent back without obtaining an RA number will not be accepted. To obtain an RA number, please call 0131 229 8211 or email info@reddogmusic.co.uk.
Compatibility Issues
With computer related goods such as software, audio interfaces and other items that connect via PCI / Firewire / USB etc., it is often the case that there is nothing wrong with products that are reported to us as faulty. However, the process of getting the product to function correctly may take some time and/or expertise in order to resolve incompatibility issues or misunderstandings.
We therefore make a flat charge of £20 per item, plus any carriage costs involved, to overcome problems like this. We can only do this in store - if you cannot return your computer to us then you must use the technical support services of the UK distributor. If we cannot get your product to work then we will deal with it as with any other faulty product (free of charge), providing you have not prevented us from making changes to the configuration of the machine and/or have been prepared to allow us to make other free upgrades in order to achieve compatibility.
